Carnivals!!

On Saturday we slept until half past 10 because we knew that Saturday was going to be a loooooooonnnggg day. Maitane decided to make all of her homework already, so I have been doing some work for school as well. That was basically what we did all day. Before we left, I decided to take a nap because I knew we would come home very late. At half past 9 I woke up because we had to get dressed for the carnival. Maitane and I decided to go as monkeys, so we put on our costumes and then we went to Naroa"s house, where all of Maitane"s friends were. They were stil getting dressed and doing their make-up and still had to have dinner while we were already finished so we just sat their and waited but we still had fun.

At half past 11 we decided to go to the place where we carnival"s would take place and at that moment there were not a lot of people yet. A band was playing music, but since all the music was in basque I did not understand anything. While they were playing one of the guitarists broke their guitar so they went off stage for 20 minutes and when they came back they only played one song. After that we thought they would start playing normal music but another band came, who also sang Basque music all night so I did not know any of the music that was played at that night. However, we still had fun and at half past 3 we decided to go back to Naroa"s house to go to bed because we were all very tired. Sadly enough it rained a lot while we were walking home, but we luckily we brought umberellas so we did not get that wet. As soon as we were in bed I think all of us slept within 10 minutes :).
