Guggenheim and some spare time at home

Today we woke up at 10AM which was very nice after the extremely long and exhausting day we had on Monday. When we woke up we went downstairs for dinner and ate some of the ´peperkoek´ I gave to them which was a part of my present and they all liked it very much which was good to hear. Afterwards we got ready to take the bus to Bilbao to visit the Guggenheim which is a museum of modern and contemporary art. It is one of the very few museums of the Solomon R. Guggenheim foundation so it was pretty special to be able to visit one.

One of the first things we saw was an exhibition by a Dutch artist which was pretty funny. In a dark room, there were four beamers and they showed 5 different people dancing to their favorite music. It was pretty funny because every person chose his/her favorite music and you could see that they all reacted so differently.

After spending some time at the museum we went outside to look at the art they located outside of the museum but the weather was so bad that even our umberellas couldnt protect us, so we decided to go home.

When we arrived home it was time for Maitane to start her homework because school will start tomorrow. I still had to make the powerpoint that belongs to the presentation I made about the Dutch culture so we worked on that for a little while. Afterwards I met Maitane's aunt and we ate a typical Basque snack; nuts with cheese which was really good! :)

Tonight we will have some rest and might watch a movie to make sure we get enough rest for school, which will start tomorrow!
